Burbank's Own Make Billionaires Pay Protest
Sept 20, 2025, is a day of protest around the world.
We The People pay our taxes, and the proceeds have been hijacked to fund authoritarian military shows of force. At the same time, essential programs that huge swaths of tax-paying Americans depend on have been gutted.
Tax cuts and sweetheart contracts for the wealthiest magnify the inequalities we're all feeling, as the Grifter in Chief continues to run the US like a mob boss.
Prices are escalating, our planet is suffering, good people are targeted for deportation because they look a certain way. It's not right.
Please get creative, bring your posters and noisemakers, and let's raise a fuss at Lincoln (Buena Vista Library) Park at the corner of Buena Vista and Verdugo, from 1 pm to 3 pm Saturday, September 20.
This is not a march or a rally, it's just a chance to stand in opposition to fascism and oligarchy in the company of like-minded folks. We'll get honked at, we'll share signs created with wit, wisdom, and a genuine love of the ideals that made our country a place worth standing up for.
